Our Sustainability Efforts
Every year in Türkiye, thousands of tons of CO2 are emitted by trucks. It is a fact that billions of trees are needed to reduce these CO2 emissions. As Transpop, we are working to make our logistics services sustainable in order to leave a livable planet for future generations.
Our activities in this scope:
- Smart Load Matching & Shared Transportation: To minimize your transportation emissions, we operate our trucks in the most efficient way. We optimize loads and increase the occupancy rate in return loads, providing efficiency.
- Sustainable Warehousing:
In our warehouses throughout Turkey, we pay attention to the efficient use of electricity, water and heating, designing our warehouses to benefit more from daylight, using sensor lighting, and regularly making saving plans.
- Green Fleet Transformation: We are replacing the vehicles in our fleet with environmentally friendly vehicles, using environmentally friendly trucks in our intercity transportation services and lower capacity vehicles in the city to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Digital Solutions: Our PSM (Produce My Stand) digital application enables production as needed, and our WMS (Where is My Stand) application contributes to extending the lifespan of products we transport by tracking them in the field. With the software we develop, we reduce the use of printed documents and complete our processes with digital signatures.
- Waste Management & Circular Economy: We liquidate the logistics materials we use, provide recycling by giving pallets, paper and plastics that are scrapped to accredited companies we have agreements with, and reuse the intact ones through reverse circulation.
- Re-stand: We repair our customers’ unused stands and transform them to offer them for reuse in different areas.
- Environmentally Awareness: To increase environmental awareness, we provide regular training to our entire team, share our environmental sensitivity policy, and regularly inform them about our activities.
